Merge PDF files

Combine several PDFs into a single document — in your browser, with no uploads.

Runs 100% in your browser

Add two or more PDFs to merge them.

    How to merge PDF files

    1. Add your PDFs. Select two or more PDF files. They appear in a list in the order you added them.
    2. Set the order. Move files up or down so the pages combine in the order you want.
    3. Merge and download. Click Merge PDFs to build the combined file and download it instantly.

    About merging PDFs

Combining PDFs is the everyday job of assembling a contract from its appendices, a report from its sections, or a set of scanned receipts into one file to send or archive. This tool copies every page from each file — unchanged — into a single new document, so text stays searchable and images keep their resolution. Because the merge happens with a bundled library in your browser, your documents never leave your device. Need to trim the result? Use the split PDF tool, reorder pages with the PDF organizer, or shrink it with the PDF compressor.

    Frequently asked questions

Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?
No. Files are merged entirely in your browser with a bundled PDF library. Nothing is uploaded and nothing is stored — close the tab and it is gone.
Can I change the order of the files?
Yes. Drag the files into the order you want, or use the up/down controls. Pages are combined top to bottom in the order shown.
Is there a file size or page limit?
Only your device memory. Because everything runs locally, very large documents take longer and use more RAM, but there is no fixed cap.
Will merging change the quality of my pages?
No. Pages are copied byte-for-byte into the new document, so text stays selectable and images keep their original resolution.
Are encrypted or password-protected PDFs supported?
Remove the password first (open it and re-save without protection). Encrypted files cannot be read in the browser without the password.
